Sara Shahverdi, a former midwife and the first woman elected to her Iranian village council, teaches teenage girls to ride motorcycles, challenges child marriage and tries to open space for women to make decisions long denied to them. Sara Khaki and Mohammadreza Eyni follow her over several years through victories, conflict and the personal cost of public action.
The film is an intimate vérité portrait of a woman turning the right to choose into everyday political practice.
